Service Assessment Readiness Tool
Purpose
This tool helps Service Teams understand how prepared they are to attend a Service Assessment Session. It is designed to help identify areas that may need further work before the assessment process.
How it Works
- Open the Tool
Download the Excel file and open the worksheet “Intro and General Information.” - Add General Information
Fill in information about:- The Digital Service
- The Service Team
- Complete the Questionnaire
Go to the “Readiness Questionnaire” worksheet.- TRUE (☑) = The item has been completed, applied, or formally considered (even if not required).
- FALSE (☐) = The item has not been addressed or remains pending.
- Use the Notes column to record any relevant comments.
- Check Your Readiness
The tool automatically calculates a readiness percentage based on the TRUE answers.
This helps both the service team and the assessment panel understand how well-prepared a service is and where improvements are needed before proceeding to the next phase. - View the Results
- Open the “Report” sheet for a summary of your responses.
- Open the “Detailed Report” sheet for a detailed breakdown of each question and note.
When to Use It
Use the tool before requesting an assessment. It helps you:
- Check that your team aligns with, and meets the Service Standard
- Spot any gaps in user research, design, or technical delivery
- Prioritise areas to improve before the review

Next Steps
Once your team feels confident with the results, submit it together with the Service Assessment Request Form (Version 1.1), fully completed and signed, along with all necessary attachments, electronically via email at dsf-qa@dits.dmrid.gov.cy.
